How TongueLex collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our service, including Google sign-in and audio analysis.
tonguelex@divineutterance.orgWho we are and how to contact us
TongueLex is the spiritual reflection and audio-analysis service available at divineutterance.org. This Privacy Policy covers the TongueLex website and its account, recording, analysis, learning, and community features.
For privacy questions, access or correction requests, or account and data deletion, contact tonguelex@divineutterance.org. Please identify your account email and the request; never send your password.
Account information and Google sign-in
When you create an account, we process your email address, name or profile details you provide, account identifier, and authentication information. If you choose Continue with Google, Google and our authentication provider, Base44, process the sign-in and provide the basic identity information you authorize, such as your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier.
We use this Google identity information to create or identify your TongueLex account, authenticate you, display your profile, and provide account support. It is stored with account information in our service infrastructure. Basic Google sign-in does not grant TongueLex permission to read your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, or contacts.
Google identity information is shared with the service providers needed to operate authentication and your account, or when required by law. We do not sell Google user data, use it for personalized advertising, or use it to train general-purpose AI models. TongueLex’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
You can stop using Google sign-in or remove TongueLex’s access in your Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Removing that connection does not itself delete your TongueLex account or previously saved data; contact us to request deletion.
Recordings, written content, and AI processing
We process audio you record or upload, file details such as title and duration, written prompts and messages, and the analysis results you choose to save. Audio analysis may include transcription, language observations, and spiritual reflections. We compute an audio fingerprint to recognize your previously analyzed recordings and reuse your saved results.
Audio files and relevant prompts are sent through Base44’s integrations to AI services, including Google Gemini, to generate the requested results. Recordings and results are stored to provide your saved history. Other AI features process the text you submit, such as dream descriptions, study questions, or support messages.
Your submissions may reveal religious beliefs or other sensitive personal information. Upload only content you have permission to use and avoid including information you do not want processed by these services. AI results can be inaccurate and are intended for reflection rather than professional advice.
Community content, communications, and purchases
Forum posts, prayer requests, testimonies, and other content submitted for community publication may be visible to other users or the public, according to the feature and publication settings. Moderators may review submissions. Do not put private account information in public posts.
We process contact messages, newsletter or reminder subscriptions, and delivery preferences to respond to you and send communications you request. You may unsubscribe from optional messages or contact us to change those preferences.
When you purchase access or donate, the payment provider shown at checkout processes your payment details. Depending on the checkout used, this may involve Stripe, PayPal, Base44/Wix payment services, or Apple in-app purchases. TongueLex stores transaction references, payment status, and access entitlements; we do not store full payment card numbers.
Technical information and how we use it
Our hosting and authentication services process technical information needed to deliver the website, such as network requests, device or browser details, session information, and error logs. Cookies and browser storage support sign-in, preferences, and site operation.
We use the information described here to operate accounts and features, deliver requested analysis and communications, administer purchases, resolve support issues, diagnose failures, and help prevent fraud or misuse. You can control cookies and storage through your browser; disabling them may affect sign-in and other features.
Service providers and disclosures
Base44 supplies our application platform, authentication, data storage, file hosting, and service integrations. AI providers process the audio or text needed for the AI feature you request. Payment, email, and infrastructure providers process relevant information to perform their services.
Authorized administrators may access information when needed for support, moderation, security, or service operation. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to address abuse and protect rights. Providers may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable terms and privacy policies.
Storage, security, and retention
Account information, uploaded content, and saved results are held in the infrastructure used to operate TongueLex. Uploaded media and exported reports may be represented by hosted file links. Keep those links private: sharing a link may allow another person to access the file.
We use the platform’s authentication and access controls to manage access to account features. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We do not promise that deleting an entry in the interface immediately erases every hosted file, provider copy, or backup.
We retain account and saved feature data while needed to provide the service, handle requests, maintain required transaction records, and address security or legal obligations. Retention of provider logs, files, and backups depends on the relevant systems and obligations. Contact us for deletion of your account or specific uploaded files.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can remove saved recording entries from Saved Recordings. Removing an entry is not a guarantee that its hosted audio file or other provider copies have been deleted. To request removal of those files, other personal data, or your entire account, email tonguelex@divineutterance.org from your registered email address with the subject Account Deletion Request or Privacy Request.
We may need to verify account ownership before acting. Tell us whether your request covers the account, particular recordings, hosted files, or published community content. We will explain any information that must be retained for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution reasons. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by a third party; manage it through the billing provider as well.
You can also ask to access or correct your information, stop optional communications, or raise a privacy concern. Additional rights may apply depending on your location. See the Account Deletion page for the request instructions.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as TongueLex changes. The date below identifies the current version. Material changes will be described in an updated notice on this site or an appropriate account communication.
